freedom

from food & body dysmorphia

About me

Morgan is a Behavior Analyst living in Southern California. She created this site to merge her lived experience with disordered eating and her educational background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). At her third treatment center for Anorexia Nervosa, Morgan completed her Master's degree online in 2022. What perplexes her is that while she was studying human behavior through the lense of behavior modification strategies for Autistic children, Morgan didn't apply these principles to her own recovery.

While the inner “voice” attempting to control what she ate and how much she exercised never fully dissipated, Morgan has learned a great deal of tools to quiet it. Whether you are tired of yo-yo dieting, hating your body, in the beginning stages of admitting and accepting you have a problem with food and body image, or have been struggling with an ED for years, I’m glad you’re here. My approach to recovery is on a continuum- applying Behavior Analytic principles to promote positive changes while giving yourself grace to have missteps and lapses. I created this online space to help others become curious about their unique needs, customize their recovery experience, and share the knowledge that professionals I’ve worked with have passed on to me. I hope the resources here can help you find greater food freedom.
